A Culture of Safety

The health and safety of our employees, partners, contractors and visitors to our sites and workplace is top priority for ReNu Energy.  To ensure ongoing commitment to health and safety a full review of our Health and Safety framework and reporting systems was conducted following the Quantum Power acquisition.

The Company is continually striving to improve its safety performance through risk management processes that identify systems, processes and procedures that need strengthening. We will continue to place strong emphasis on hazard identification, risk assessment and risk management across all our activities to prevent injuries and minimise impact on the environment.

  • Comply with all relevant laws, regulations and standards and aspire to delivering higher standards.
  • Ensure that all employees and contractors receive appropriate training to fulfill their individual environmental responsibilities.
  • Ensure that we have the necessary resources and skills to achieve our environmental commitments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimise pollution, manage waste effectively; use water and energy efficiently while addressing all relevant cultural heritage and biodiversity issues.
  • Formally monitor and report annually on our environmental performance against defined objectives.
  • Require that companies providing contract services to manage their environmental performance in line with our Environment Policy.
  • Work towards the achievement of a high level of external recognition for the quality of our on-site environmental management.
